Pine Needles Lodge & Golf Club, Mid Pines Inn & Golf Club and Southern Pines Golf Club have been named to Golf Digest’s America’s 100 Greatest Public Courses, the only resort with 3 Donald Ross courses named to the list.

Southern Pines, after undergoing a major restoration in 2021, made its debut on the list at No. 72. Both Pine Needles (No. 63) and Mid Pines (No. 86) moved up in the rankings.
